Bible Ministries meet further during the recession
It is no secret that the U.S. economy is fighting for land aground. Large companies and brand-name ministries are cutting costs, cutting services and cutting jobs, all at an alarming rate.
In an article Christianity Today recently, nonprofit overload, "author John W. Kennedy writes that many ministries report drops in regular, large gifts and investment income. Some ministries have seen double-digit declines percent in their budgets for 2009.
"In the difficult economic climate, donors want to know who are having the greatest impact for the Kingdom, "said Jerry Jackson, founder and president of Worldwide Audio Bible ministry." People knows that the need for the Word of God is so great among the poor and illiterate in the world. And they are responding because they know the value of supporting the cause of the Bible. "
Audio Bible Ministry
Faith comes by hearing everyone Audio Bible Ministry, records and uses of audio Bibles to make disciples to the poor and illiterate people in the world. Its mission is to record the New Testament into 2,000 languages and two million to start listening groups of the Bible for the year 2016 to reach 50% of the world who can not read and are poor.
In February 2009, the Albuquerque, NM-based nonprofit in one of only a handful of charities to receive its second consecutive "Charity Navigator 4 Star rating for fiscal responsibility. Faith Comes By Hearing has an impeccable 36-year financial history.
Faith Comes By Hearing has its best year of the planned extension of the goal for 2009 is the application of 200,000 Bible listening groups worldwide. This ambitious goal would reach about 18 million people with the Gospel.
Jackson said the ministry partners around the world have seen the effectiveness of the strategy of the Bible is to listen and more than $ 30 million needed to finish this year.
Walter and Sherri Green of Waxahachie, Texas, are regular supporters Faith Comes By Hearing.
During a trip to Guatemala from donors, it is obvious that he felt God's call, pulling their hearts to help the poor and illiterate have the Word of God in the audio. Years later, are still emotionally affected and deeply moved after seeing what happened to people who hear the Word of God first in your own language.
Hundreds chatter of children and adults suddenly stopped and listened, Sherri said. The Greens were observed with appreciation that many gave their hearts to Christ.
"We were impressed with the transparency that provides Faith Comes By Hearing," says Sherri. "In any time you can ask for proof of dollars spent. Also continuously update us on how the mission is moving toward forward ".
When you give faith comes by hearing their dollars are used responsibly, Sherri said.
Typically, a gift of $ 157 provides audio New Testament in the language of the heart to an entire people. However, Wycliffe Bible Translators recently offered a matching challenge 334,000 dollars, doubling the impact of each gift.
"We are called to reach every nation, tribe, language with the Word of God in the audio. Please join us! "Jackson said.

Youth Ministry

Anyone Studies religious or youth ministry more important?
These are two big potential'm considering. I wondered if anyone had any idea of them and what they mean? Also, how are classes in general? What kind of work you want to achieve with these careers after graduation? Sorry for all the questions, I'm just trying to understand what I do! Thanks:)
Students taking courses Religious gain valuable critical thinking skills, as well as information and knowledge for lasting careers ranging from law and politics to medicine, social work, and even international business. As religion has become an increasingly critical factor for understanding the enormous diversity of the modern world, the importance of religion courses for a wide variety of careers has increased accordingly. Religious Studies Major in my program Leagues have come to graduate and professional schools at major universities, especially in the fields of humanities (philosophy, religious studies, history, history art), but also in fields as diverse as law, journalism, psychology, social work, and business management. We do not offer a "ministry Youth "important in my university, and is not offered in any university I know. I suspect that on this scale is available only in religious schools affiliated. Best wishes to you!

On May 11, the pope arrived in Israel for an official visit. This trip is always a delicate diplomatic issue, was followed very closely by everyone.
Spiegel Online spoke of a very slippery tour of the Holy Land, where the Pope will visit the Wailing Wall and the Holocaust Memorial Jat is schem. In the past, Benedict XVI has failed to enrage the Jews only, but also Muslims.
The German newspaper Die Zeit, wrote on May 7, 2009, in a article entitled "Pope Visit: Sitting in the chair of Peter Delicado" which was a difficult mission to the Holy Land: "The visit of Benedict XVI Israel puts the future of his pontificate on the line.
Ulrich W. Sahm of haGalil wrote about diplomatic disapproval between Israel and the Vatican. It addressed issues such as who holds a speech when and where and in what place of these meetings will take place. The mayor of Jerusalem, Nir Barkat, for example, invites the papal delegation to a night "magic in Jerusalem." But since the event was scheduled to take place in the eastern part of the city, which Israel first took over in 1967, and since the Vatican does not recognize Jewish sovereignty over East Jerusalem, the Vatican supposedly necessary in the reception, Mayor to refrain from giving a speech. The Vatican's response was clear and to the point: The mayor will give a speech. From May next to the reception, come. In any event, the ceremony would take place.
The newspapers in Israel reported on the papal visit in hostile tone and caustic comments. "A-Pop-ular" was the title Jedijot a Achronot article about the impending visit of the German "blessed" Benedict XVI, who was once a young soldier in the armed forces of Hitler.
A well-known Holocaust survivor Noah Kliger, recalled a speech by Joseph Ratzinger in Auschwitz in January 2009. Kliger closed his comments with "feelings found "and declared:" As we know, God's ways are not known to us, whether Jews or Christians. Apparently, this applies to forms of representative of God on Earth. "
In view of this mood in the country, Israel's secret service mobilized a security action for the giant mantle of the "white". A 80,000 strong police force, including agents, participated in this measure. It was the largest action ever undertaken security in the history of Israel.
When Jesus of Nazareth entered Jerusalem some 2000 years ago, rode a donkey, probably accompanied by 12 companions unarmed. What does fear for Benedict XVI? Do you have a guilty conscience? Because otherwise, could travel much more modestly, to Jerusalem, having this a good model.
Perhaps it has something to do with his controversial statements on the condom, which brought him very unpleasant reactions. In the Netherlands, for example, a popular television court charged him, declaring him responsible for the deaths of millions of victims of AID.
The pope leaves protected by a police force of 80,000 strong. Why not trust God, when he is their representative on Earth?! During his life, Jesus said, "My kingdom is not of this world.
We can read this with enough precision in the Bible the Pope: "My kingdom is not of this world. If my kingdom were of this world my followers would fight so I will not be delivered to the Jews. But as it is, my kingdom not from here. "(John 18:36).
So if the Pope needs a security force of 80,000, you might wonder if the kingdom of the pope is not more of this world …

Christian Groups

Why conservative Christian communities seem to produce most of the hate groups?
Upon learning of the incidents that followed really bad the election of Obama, almost all took place in conservative communities and states that are proud of how Christian they are. And when you look at the location hate groups also seem to thrive in such places as Idaho and Texas. They say people go to church every Sunday and learn about love and peace and joy of the Bible. How does the hatred and bigotry out of it?
I hear ya man I have often wondered myself. I love how the attempt to discuss I do not hate this saying. Why is there always groups of touring standing outside the church where gay people and meetings with signs that say "God Hates F * GS" or other messages of hate? Why the increase in church groups against the leader of our nation when the Bible says that respect for the leaders and they are there because God wants to be there. Why are church groups outside abortion clinics get incredibly violent and harassing those who were inside. Regardless of one's views on these issues is not the message of Christ to love one another??? I love to see one of them will give an honest answer honest.

There are several reasons, Christians involved in Christian Homebased business, but most end up quitting because they see the fruits of manifestation of labor.
All training and money in the world is not producing the results you want. I've been there before. I connected with Christian Internet business in the past that was a big company, but just do not get anything. You may be wondering how it was that was wrong. Matthew 6:33 says, "But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you." Let me break down this information for you to stop spinning the wheels on your business.
God told us that if we make of his kingdom everything else our only priority will be added to us. See who you mess up and I think if we put God first, the search for other things as a child is great. It is not. The Hebrew word for the first in verse gives a connotation as first and only. So seek the kingdom should be our only goal.
You may be wondering, and how fits me to have the best Christian home business. Once again its very simple. Our life long mission is to seek God's way of doing things, His will their way and always be on the right foot with his government. He said if we do, everything else will follow us.

Follow what is said here and you will have the target = "_blank" title = "best Christian home business"> best Christian home business that pleases God.

Christian Events

Will Major League Baseball and other sports events become "Christian only" in the near future?
http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2006/07/27sportsline/main1841260.shtml Personally, I think the church should be reserved for church and sport should be for everyone, no religion that spread. Check out the link and tell me how you feel. It's all about "Marketing" and, of course, marketing is all about taking your money – consider the fact that it is "used" because of their Christian religion, and others of other faiths shall be subjected to Christianity. If the link does not work, search for "Faith" Day of CBS News.
First public schools, now sports … nothing is certain … Side note: What if there was "Darwin Day" in a game the Atlanta Braves? Everyone lid, although it would be less out of place as the "Day of Faith". You can only do this sort of thing with religion. But still what he said, simply can not understand why these things can not keep the church, as you said. What does baseball have to do with religion?

Local Christian Missions

I am interested in opening a game / LAN center of Christian influence. What steps can I take to be successful?
Being a fan and a player, it amazes me how many "lost" players out there. When religion was brought up in line is always one-sided slaughter for anyone arguing it. The game in general is becoming more and more popular and I feel that there is a better way to reach young people through something that includes their generation. My thought would be a game center with computers, games consoles and other interesting activities. The place is decorated with verses (written in Hebrew) the walls, but not too much fact as to ensure that non-Christians uncomfortable. " I thought I could team with local churches and give off / hour of play free to those who regularly attend church or participate in missions or volunteer. I know this would not be a big source of income for me and my current job is a blessing itself, which had need of investors and / or a business loan. I'm looking mainly to those with knowledge steps to start their own businesses.
Dont. The people I play are not going to go to a gaming center to find religion, in reality, most will be offended if you try to push your religion in them. The truth of the matter is that most "Christians" a good thing most players do is play Doom and watch the Boondock Saints on the same day. You're not going to find a large target audience. BTW many, many people feel very negatively to the "missions". As if you really want to start a business of taking the same route I did and contact your attorney. You can expect that the placement of a few thousand dollars in licensing alone. You will to choose a name and your lawyer will check it for its already taken and to ensure all legal measures are taken care of. After you have to contact an owner of a building that is looking to rent and then most likely have to add more circuit breakers and Ethernet access to cable lines and even if they are not installed. Buy all the machines and games that follows, which also cost a great piece. I would be willing to spend over 15k on boot alone. The license costs thousands and assuming that you have many machines for people involved, and the furniture that will cost.
